- Vocal Gym – Different Singing techniques

Term 2 (3 months)
- Music theory for Singers – different Scales
- Score writing, Sight Singing
- Understanding different instruments

Term 3 (3 months)
- Study of different Music Genres
- Vocal proficiency for singing Contemporary Genres
- Improvisation in different Genres
Term 4 onwards
- Exam-oriented training (Trinity College London Syllabus)

The student should be at least 9 years old. An interest and commitment to learning and practise is the only prerequisite.

Can students choose between individual & batch classes?
Yes, at the time of enrolment students can choose either individual classes or batch classes based on their preferences or needs. Even in a batch class, the teachers strive to provide one-on-one instruction and individual attention to each student
What is the usual batch size, and when does it typically commence?
Typically, a batch consists of 4-6 students, which can vary depending on the course. The commencement of new batches may be contingent on enrolling a minimum number of students.
Are there any additional fees or expenses apart from the course tuition?
Additionally, you will be required to purchase the grade book for the Trinity grade you are currently working towards.
Will students have opportunities to perform or showcase their skills during the course?
At Crossroads, you’ll find numerous chances to collaborate with fellow students and showcase your talents. We regularly host recitals for every department and provide platforms at both school and public events. Additionally, there are opportunities for collaborative projects with industry experts.
Could you please share details about the grading system and assessments beyond the Trinity exam?
In addition to the Trinity exam, we conduct ongoing internal assessments and evaluations of students. Every 6 months, we arrange a parent-teacher interaction to facilitate effective communication between teachers and parents regarding the student’s progress and areas where improvement is possible.
Can students receive a certificate upon completion of the course?
Completing each grade material and clearing grade exams from Trinity College London will earn you certificates.
What is the refund policy if a student needs to withdraw from the course?
According to the school’s policy, fees paid are non-refundable.
Is there a minimum attendance requirement?
Students are encouraged not to miss any classes, as music learning is an ongoing process that relies on consistent practice and dedication, which directly impacts your progress.
Are there any flexible scheduling options or makeup classes in case of missed sessions?
In the case of individual classes, flexibility is contingent on the teacher’s availability, considering they may have other classes scheduled. However, for batch classes, such flexibility might not be feasible. Nevertheless, teachers at Crossroads remain committed to assisting students with their questions and concerns.

At Crossroads, our teachers are dedicated to ensuring that every student comprehends the fundamental concepts of their subjects. If you are not located in Cochin but are ready to shift for in-person lessons, we can help you in connecting with local hostel service providers.
