Are there any prerequisites or age restrictions for enrolling in this course?
The student should be at least 8 years old. An interest and commitment to learning and practice is the only prerequisite.
What materials or equipment will students need for the course, such as musical instruments or textbooks? From where to procure this material?
As this is an online class, students are required to have their own instruments for learning and practice (In the case of the classical guitar course, a nylon-stringed guitar), along with the grade book corresponding to the Trinity grade they are pursuing. The specific grade or level will determine the variation. We’ll assist you in finding websites where you can conveniently acquire these materials on your own.
Are there any additional fees or expenses apart from the course tuition?
The fees for the course will differ based on the Trinity grade chosen by the student. As you progress to a higher level, there might be changes in fees corresponding to the change in Trinity grade. Rest assured, we will inform students well in advance about any changes.
Will students have opportunities to perform or showcase their skills during the course?
Certainly! We promote collaboration and provide chances for students to connect, work together on projects, and even perform in virtual environments. Additionally, we organize an annual eSuite Showcase event to highlight the outstanding performances by our top students.
Can you provide information about the grading system and any assessments or exams?
In addition to the Trinity exam, we conduct ongoing internal assessments and evaluations of students.
Are there any flexible scheduling options or makeup classes in case of missed sessions?
In the case of individual classes, flexibility is contingent on the teacher’s availability, considering they may have other classes scheduled. However, for batch classes, such flexibility might not be feasible. However, students can access the video recording of the missed class to catch up. Also teachers at Crossroads remain committed to assisting students with their questions and concerns.
How do students access the online lessons, and what technology or software is required?
Students will attend their live online classes via Microsoft Teams. Our admissions team will guide you through the installation and login process. As you’re aware, a reliable broadband connection is crucial for an optimal online learning experience.
Can students receive a certificate upon completion of the course?
Completing each grade material and clearing grade exams from Trinity College London will earn you certificates.
What is the refund policy if a student needs to withdraw from the course?
According to the school’s policy, fees paid are non-refundable.
