Meet Raagini Deoley Sudhakar, a prodigious talent in the realm of Indian classical music, whose journey in the world of melodies began under the esteemed guidance of Pt. Sudhakar Deoley. Hailing from a lineage deeply rooted in the Jaipur, Agra, and Gwalior Gharana Gayaki, Raagini embarked on her musical odyssey at the tender age of 10, following the revered Gurushishya Parampara tradition.
Bringing over 9 years of experience to her teaching, Raagini holds an impressive array of qualifications. Under the tutelage of her uncle, Pt. Prabhakar Deoley, a disciple of Pt. Balasaheb Puchwale, Raagini has delved into the intricate nuances of Tappa Gayaki, enriching her repertoire with diverse musical expressions. Her dedication and prowess have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Sangeet Visharad from Gandharv Mandal and the title of Bachelor of Music (Gold Medalist) from Raja Mansingh Tomar University of Music and Arts, Gwalior. Furthering her musical journey, Raagini pursued her Masters in Music from IKSV Khairagarh, honing her skills under the guidance of renowned maestros like Pt. Shounak Abhisheki, Pt. Ram Shankar, and Pt. Mangesh Mulye through enriching masterclasses.
Raagini’s musical prowess has been recognized on a national scale, with notable performances at esteemed venues such as Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Samahroh in Pune and Ujjain, NCPA in Mumbai, and Pt. Sawai Gandharv Sangeet Samahroh in Hubali, Karnataka, among others. Her illustrious journey is adorned with a myriad of awards and achievements, including triumphs at the All India Radio Music Competition, State level Lata Mangeshkar Alankaran Samahroh, National level Youth Festival, and many more. Raagini’s stellar performances have been immortalized through recordings at Doordarshan, Bhopal, and she has been honored with the esteemed Gaurav Bruhan Maharashtracha by Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal, New Delhi, among other prestigious awards.
